Who is James R. Playford?
I obtained my Honours Business Administration degree from Waterloo Lutheran University in 1972. I trained as a C.A. student with Touche Ross & Co. (now known as Deloitte-Touche) and received my Chartered Accountant designation in December of 1974. I have been an employee in a National accounting firm, and a partner in a Regional accounting firm. I became proprietor of my own accounting practice in April of 1992, sharing office space with my associates, R. E. (Bob) Greer, C A., and Frank J. Eichorn, C.A. The association benefits include sharing an accounting technician and office manager, sharing a progressive computerized office environment, and proximity to an income tax specialist in Bob Greer.
I have years of giving specialized accounting advice to small and medium sized owner-managed businesses. I am experienced in statutorily-required audits for corporations, as well as audits of non-profit housing projects.
